Artist Statement
Creation of movement and audiovisual compositions that are guided by the exploration between movement, space, sound, light, and other elements that surround us. The work exploration focuses less about portraying the technique side of dance and more about shaping the language quality of movement necessary for each piece.
BIO
Dancer, choreographer, movement director and GYROTONIC® instructor. Pre-professional dance training at Idyllwild Arts Academy. Received a BFA in Dance at the Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program with a minor in Communications. Completed a Masters Degree on Multimedia Design for Performing Arts at LABA Valencia School of Art and Design. Choreography works include, ‘Without Sinking’ presented at Dominican University of California. ‘75%’ audiovisual installation presented at Naves de Ruzafa Valencia, Spain. ‘Perseverante’ & ‘Contradictorio‘, presented at the Theatre Musical de Valencia, Spain. Among others. Instructor at Gyrotonic Valencia Center, previously instructed at Pilates Space Florida in Boca Raton, FL.
